Have you ever been to see an architect or builder only to have him throw house floor plans in your face and go on talking, expecting you to know exactly what it all means?

As a design and drafting firm we work with house floor plans on a daily basis – it’s our business. But most home buyers only ever really look at them maybe 2 or 3 times in their life, so why should they be expected to know everything? It is the builder or designers job to explain to you how house floor plans work, but here is a quick overview of the basics.
